For this amazing event, Port Town Collective was sought out by a prestigious private university to design and execute an exclusive fundraising event for 48 VIPs—and our team delivered an unforgettable experience with military precision!
From start to finish, we orchestrated a full-service affair that was both elegant and evocative. The evening began with a champagne reception and passed hors d’oeuvres while Johnny Mercer songs were played on the grand piano by a pianist. There was an eccentric call to dinner followed by a decadent, multi-course feast. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared and presented with an artistic touch. The seamless service ensured every guest was well cared for throughout the night. All guests were treated to a superfluous feast for the senses!
At the heart of the event, aside from the majesty of the venue, were our stunning tablescapes. Port Town Collective brought a sense of drama to the evening with tall, antique candelabras, while natural beauty was captured through foraged centerpieces of loblolly pine and floating camellias, artfully arranged in sterling compotes. Custom table linens in moss green velvet completed the vision perfectly coordinating with the home’s historic china pattern and pink place settings that added a nostalgic and timeless touch.
Glowing candlelight created an authentic, period-appropriate ambiance that left a lasting impression on each guest. Port Town Collective’s meticulous attention to detail made every aspect of the evening—from the menu to the design—flawless, resulting in not only a successful event but one that exceeded the fundraising goal by thousands!
