A Savannah Proposal…Like No Other!
Earlier this year PTC was contacted to curate a unique engagement scenario here in Savannah. The client had visited Savannah before, so he mostly knew all there was to do downtown. He mentioned that he wanted something that was completely bespoke. Something he had not seen advertised. We knew right away what we needed to do. Savannah’s best asset is the water. We knew we had to get this client away from everyone and everything.
In the end, we thoughtfully curated a sunset cruise and formal seated al fresco dinner engagement scenario on Little Tybee Island for two people.
For the sunset cruise which was perfectly timed at golden hour, we showcased the Lazaretto Creek and back river areas which are part of the Intercoastal Waterway. At the marina, Steve and Gabriela boarded a private charter and took a one-hour sunset cruise complete with beverage service. An acoustic guitar serenaded the couple while a photographer captured the sweetest sunset moments.
For the seated al fresco dinner on Little Tybee, a beautiful summer- inspired table was laid in shades of green and white. The table was complete with a live vegetable plant arrangement of tomato, bell pepper, and basil. We paired that with strategically placed artichokes and shishito peppers. There was a brass candelabra, gold flatware service, vintage tableware, two Limoges fish plates, bottomless champagne, one server for each guest, and our private chef-designed an amazing three-course meal.
The chef- designed custom menu offering was to die for!
Salad Course
Caprese salad with farmer’s market tomatoes, homemade buffalo mozzarella, fresh Georgia peaches, and balsamic reduction
Entree
Balsamic chicken over grilled corn and tomato medley
Dessert
Super Dark Chocolate Torte with fresh raspberries
Overhead, an organic pergola of native greens hung over the table and added to the charming visual. Hanging above the table there even was a small chandelier. The guitarist who had curated a special request playlist for the couple, continued through dinner to help accentuate the natural surroundings and the photographer captured all these unforgettable moments.
After dinner, Steve took Gabriela’s hand and led her to the water’s edge, where he knelt and presented her with a gorgeous diamond tennis necklace IN ADDITION TO her gorgeous ring!!
The pictures say it all. This was nostalgic romance just like from an old movie!
